"We Must No Longer Scatter Our Ranks with Talk of Unification or the Big Tent"
People Power Party co-presidential election committee chair Na Kyungwon stated on May 18, "From now on, we must begin to change the landscape of the election," adding, "All reasonable citizens are the big tent. Every party member is the big tent."
On this day, through Facebook, Na said, "The people do not want an abnormal, irrational republic of fear controlled solely by Lee Jaemyung," making her position clear.

Na emphasized, "We must no longer scatter our ranks with talk of unification or the big tent," and continued, "The people's big tent will block Lee Jaemyung's abnormal, irrational republic of fear, and will surely establish Kim Moonsu's normal, rational, liberal democratic republic."
She went on to say, "There is much commotion over controversies about leaving the party, the big tent, and unification," noting that the names of several politicians are being discussed. She questioned, "Can they truly save the country?" She added, "It was the party members who saved the party from the crisis of abnormality," and affirmed, "I believe in that strength."
This is interpreted as broadly pointing out the situation where former Daegu mayor Hong Junpyo left the party after losing the primary, the attempt at unification with former Prime Minister Han Ducksoo failed after a party member vote, and the ongoing discussion of the need for a 'pan-conservative big tent' with Reform Party presidential candidate Lee Junseok.
Na added, "Now is a critical moment when we must unite as one to overcome the crisis, even if there are some differences in opinion," and said, "From now on, everyone must run together with the mindset of 'I am Kim Moonsu, we are Kim Moonsu.'"
