Shinhan Card announced on May 18 that it will fully sponsor the second season of "Seollem in Hangang," a singles event program organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, which will take place on June 21 at Sebitseom in Banpo Hangang Park, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
"Seollem in Hangang" is being held for the first time in seven months since its inaugural event in November last year. The program is characterized by offering participants the opportunity to interact with peers of the opposite sex against the backdrop of the Hangang River view and nightscape.
The event supports participants in mingling without awkwardness through activities such as dating coaching, yacht experiences, and a variety of recreational programs. Those who become couples will receive small gifts such as date vouchers.
Any single man or woman born between 1980 and 2000 who resides in Seoul is eligible to participate. A total of 100 participants will be selected. Applications will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on May 19 until 6:00 p.m. on June 9 through the Mongttangjeongbo Manneungki platform.
The event is being organized as part of the "Business Agreement for Overcoming the Low Birth Rate Crisis" signed between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Shinhan Financial Group.
In March, Shinhan Card launched the "Shinhan Dadungi Haengbok Card," a credit card for families with multiple children in Seoul. This card offers benefits such as up to 800,000 points in rewards and automatic payments for recurring bills.
A Shinhan Card representative stated, "We will continue our efforts in various ways to overcome the low birth rate crisis, from financial products to customer participation programs," and added, "We hope this event will create meaningful and special memories for the participants."
