[Tomorrow's Weather] Cloudy with Rain in Many Areas Nationwide... Daytime Highs 21-29 Degrees

On the 16th, rain fell across various parts of the country throughout the day. On Saturday, the 17th, the weather is expected to be mostly cloudy nationwide at times.


However, the central regions will generally become overcast from the afternoon.

Rain is expected to continue until dawn in central and southern Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, inland Jeolla, Gyeongsang region, and Jeju Island.


In the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, there will be sporadic rain from the afternoon into the evening.


The expected precipitation over the two days from the 16th is 20 to 60 mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam (with more than 80 mm in some parts of the southern coast and eastern inland of Jeonnam), and in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (with more than 80 mm in some parts of the southern coast and southwestern inland of Gyeongnam); 10 to 60 mm in Jeonbuk; 10 to 40 mm in Daegu and Gyeongbuk; and 5 to 20 mm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo.


The expected precipitation in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon is less than 5 mm.


The morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 14 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 21 and 29 degrees Celsius.


The daily average fine dust (PM-10) concentration is expected to remain at a 'good' level, but some parts of the central western region may experience a temporary increase in PM-10 concentration in the afternoon due to the inflow of yellow dust.


Wave heights in the seas are expected to range from 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea.


In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
