The Ulleung Office of Education in North Gyeongsang Province held a commemorative event on May 14 to celebrate the 44th Teachers' Day, with the participation of about 150 faculty and staff members.

During the event, four outstanding teachers who have dedicated themselves to the education and growth of students received awards, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Award, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Superintendent of Education Award, and the Ulleung Office of Education Superintendent Award.
A sports competition was also held, adding to the enjoyment of the participants. All faculty and staff from elementary, middle, and high schools in the region attended, taking part in activities such as volleyball, shoe throwing, and dice throwing. Various events, including a prize drawing, were also organized.
Lee Dongshin, Superintendent of the Ulleung Office of Education, said, "I deeply appreciate the dedication of teachers who have quietly served at the forefront of education," and added, "Let us all work together so that our children can grow into individuals with sound character and creativity."
The Ulleung Office of Education plans to continue holding such events in the future to contribute to the development of education in the region.
