On May 15, the Special Investigation Team of the National Office of Investigation at the Korean National Police Agency stated, "It is true that we have secured the call records of former President Yoon, but we cannot disclose the details of individual calls."

According to the call records, former President Yoon made phone calls to then-People Power Party floor leader Chu Kyungho and lawmaker Na Kyungwon, among others, after the declaration of martial law.

A police official explained, "This was previously confirmed by the police and forwarded to the prosecution. These are not records from a secure phone voluntarily submitted by the Presidential Security Service."
