On the BBS Radio program "Morning Journal with Shin Inkyu" on the 15th, Park said, "There are people making such reports, including those involving the National Intelligence Service, but nothing has been confirmed."
The previous day, Jeon Hyunhee, co-chair of the Democratic Party's election campaign committee, claimed the National Intelligence Service was behind the stabbing attack on candidate Lee that occurred in Busan in January last year, stating, "There is still suspicion that the National Intelligence Service was involved."

On the same day, during an appearance on MBC Radio's "Kim Jongbae's Focus," Jeon said, "The Prime Minister's Office Anti-Terror Center is staffed by National Intelligence Service personnel, and as soon as the attack occurred, they sent out text messages that significantly downplayed and distorted the severity of the incident. While I hope this is not true, because of these circumstances, we still have suspicions that the Yoon Sukyeol administration may have been involved in the attack."
Regarding the security for candidate Lee, Park stated, "The security teams are working very hard, and former police superintendents Im Hoseon and Lee Sangsik, who are both former senior police officials from our Democratic Party, are taking on special tasks and are directly supervising the operations. In addition, not only young party staffers but also female staffers are providing close protection. Above all, Representative Lee Jaemyung himself is staying alert and being cautious."
