The district will allocate 300 million won to the "2025 Multi-family Housing Support Project," selecting 40 complexes to receive financial assistance for the maintenance and repair of communal facilities. This project, which has been continuously implemented since 2006, is a resident-focused initiative designed to enhance daily convenience and improve the residential environment.

In addition, by actively encouraging and strategically supporting local multi-family housing complexes to apply for the Seoul Metropolitan Government's "Model Management Complex Support Project," 10 complexes were selected, securing 150 million won in city funding. Each year, Seoul evaluates apartment complexes based on transparency in management, facility safety, resident participation, and environmental management to select exemplary management complexes.

This year, particular emphasis was placed on efforts to improve facilities that foster a sense of community among residents and management workers. The selected complexes received high marks for operating diverse resident participation programs, facilitating active communication, and systematically managing the residential environment.

The district also participated in the "Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Safety Facility Support Project," securing approximately 200 million won in city funding, with an additional 89 million won in district matching funds to be allocated through a supplementary budget. This project provides up to 10 million won per complex, depending on the number of parking spaces, to partially cover the installation costs of safety facilities for electric vehicle charging stations, aimed at preventing and responding to fires. The district plans to ensure that a wide range of multi-family housing complexes, including apartments, officetels, and row houses, can benefit from this support.

Soohee Lee, Mayor of Gangdong District, stated, "We will strive to improve the residential environment in multi-family housing so that residents can live in a safer and more pleasant environment," adding, "We will actively review and implement a variety of support projects that are truly needed by our residents."
