Deloitte Anjin Launches XBRL Disclosure Automation Solution

Deloitte Anjin Accounting Firm announced on May 15 that it has launched the 'XBRL Converter' to help companies address practical difficulties related to disclosures and to support the strengthening of internal disclosure capabilities.

This solution provides a feature that automatically generates an XBRL disclosure Excel template when users upload electronic disclosure files, among others. According to the company, this reduces the hassle of manually entering existing data item by item. Deloitte Anjin stated, "Since the introduction of the XBRL system, companies have faced increased burdens due to the growing number of disclosure reports, the need to review the appropriateness of disclosure items, and the resulting pressure to meet disclosure deadlines." The firm added, "This solution is designed to help companies quickly adapt to the new disclosure system, thereby reducing the workload involved in the disclosure process and maximizing efficiency."

The company also emphasized that this solution can enhance the reliability of disclosures. Deloitte Anjin explained, "The solution's features, such as history management between XBRL reports, data reconciliation, and automated error detection, improve the accuracy of reports and reduce the review burden on practitioners." The firm further stated, "These are important factors that enable companies to ensure both the quality and reliability of their reports in a complex disclosure environment where the risk of errors is high."

This solution was developed by Deloitte experts with many years of experience in the XBRL consulting field. Along with the recently introduced DART Converter and Business Report Converter, it is part of the 'Deloitte Converter Series.' XBRL Converter is available as a subscription-based model at an affordable price, and its usability has been enhanced with various additional features such as taxonomy search, validation functions, and annotation recommendations for companies with similar disclosures.
