Samsung Biologics announced on May 15 that it held the "2025 Club Festival" to strengthen communication and a sense of belonging among its employees. This event was organized to celebrate the renewal of the in-house welfare space "Harmony Square" and was part of the company's ongoing efforts to foster a communication- and collaboration-oriented organizational culture.

The 2025 Club Festival, which runs from May 13 to 16, is an event in which employees voluntarily participate and create together. Various in-house clubs in fields such as orchestra, baking, and art took part. The event program consisted of performances, a bazaar, and an exhibition. Promotional booths were also set up to recruit new club members and to conduct surveys related to the establishment of new clubs.

On May 13 and 14, both performances and the bazaar took place. Members of the in-house orchestra, choir, hip-hop dance team, and band showcased the skills they had developed through practice, receiving enthusiastic responses from employees. At the bazaar, a variety of items such as handmade desserts, goods related to abandoned dogs, and hand-knitted accessories were sold. All proceeds are planned to be donated.

The exhibition is held throughout the event period, displaying creative works from each club. A collaborative mosaic art piece, a photo exhibition themed around abandoned dogs, as well as a variety of works including ceramics, knits, and sweaters were presented.

Samsung Biologics actively encourages employees to recharge through club activities and to build an organizational culture centered on communication and collaboration. About 50 clubs in diverse areas such as sports, performing arts, production, culture, and volunteer activities?reflecting the characteristics and preferences of younger employees?are currently in operation.

In addition, Harmony Square, the venue for this event, is a welfare space that Samsung Biologics completed renovating on May 13 to further enhance employee welfare and convenience. Following the opening of the welfare building "Bio Plaza" in August 2023, the company aims, through this renovation, to support employees' immersion in work and to create an in-house welfare environment that allows for efficient use of workspace.

Lee Kyooho, Head of the People Center at Samsung Biologics, stated, "This Club Festival is a venue where members' autonomy and creativity are expressed and is part of our efforts to further strengthen a healthy organizational culture. The company will continue working to ensure that everyone enjoys their work and that both employees and the company can grow together."

Meanwhile, Samsung Biologics operates various welfare programs to create a rewarding work environment for its employees. The 28,800-square-meter (approximately 8,700 pyeong) "Bio Plaza" houses a range of amenities, including a cafeteria, fitness center, and pharmacy, to ensure employees can work in optimal conditions.

The company also operates a daycare center to support employees in balancing work and parenting, and provides dormitories for those living outside Songdo. In addition, in-house facilities such as a medical clinic, dental clinic, musculoskeletal treatment center, and psychological counseling center are available to promote employee health.
