Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province is revamping its official website (https://www.suwon.go.kr) to better inform the public about key policies and make it easier for users to find the services they need.
On May 15, Suwon City announced that it plans to launch a newly visualized homepage for the general public on May 19, featuring a new "Saebit Policy Zone" at the top of the main page. This section will allow users to see the city's major policies at a glance.
The Saebit Policy Zone will include: ▲ "Saebit Civil Service Office," which provides one-stop support for handling even complex civil affairs; ▲ "Saebit Care," a program that any Suwon citizen in need of care can apply for; ▲ "Saebit Toktok," an open communication plaza for Suwon citizens; and ▲ "Saebit House," which offers support for home repairs in Suwon.
Additionally, a "Suwon Citizen Customized Service" section has been added to the middle of the homepage to help citizens easily find the services they need. Users can search for a variety of welfare benefits, support information, and practical, everyday details by category according to their life stage. The dedicated youth support menu provides information that reflects the real concerns and needs of young people.
A Suwon City official stated, "The role of a public website is to present information that citizens need to know first and to help them understand it more easily," adding, "We will continue to enhance the delivery of information through user-centered improvements."
