70% Subsidy for Eight Types of Equipment Including Blowers and Honey Extractors
Full Support for Livestock Farmers' Swift Recovery
Uiseong County in Gyeongbuk is urgently implementing the 'Wildfire-Affected Livestock Equipment Support Project' to help farms recover quickly after recent massive wildfires destroyed livestock and beekeeping equipment.
According to Uiseong County on May 15, this support project targets farms affected by wildfires that are registered in the county and have completed registration for livestock farming or beekeeping. Eligible farms can apply after reporting their damages to their local town or township office.
The support items include a total of eight types of livestock equipment, such as blowers, honey extractors, feed dissolvers, and electric carriers. The county will subsidize 70% of the equipment purchase cost. To ensure swift recovery, the county plans to complete the execution of the project by the end of June.
Kim Jusu, the county governor, stated, "I deeply empathize with the pain of livestock farmers who suffered great losses due to this wildfire," and added, "We will focus all administrative resources to provide practical support so that affected farms can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Through this support, Uiseong County aims to help farms that lost their livelihoods due to the disaster recover, while also working to maintain and restore stability in the local livestock industry.
