Kim Moonsoo, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Suncheon, Gwangyang, Gokseong, and Gurye-gap in South Jeolla Province, has ignited a signal flare for the expansion of support in Suncheon for the 21st presidential election.

Starting with the Suncheon Kidney Disease Association on the 13th, key civic organizations in Suncheon?including the Araetjang Merchants Association, the Academy Federation, and the Social Economy Federation?have publicly declared their support for candidate Lee Jae Myung, marking the official launch of a 'relay of support declarations' in the region.

In his statement of support, Kim Moonsoo said, "Together with candidate Lee Jae Myung, who has brought change to citizens' lives through action rather than words, we will create definite change in Suncheon as well." He added, "Beyond a change in government, we will organize a practical base of support together with citizens for a presidential election that truly transforms lives."

Kim Okhyun, head of the Kidney Disease Association, emphasized, "Candidate Lee Jae Myung is someone who has addressed disability issues not just in words but through policy. This declaration of support is our choice, reflecting our desire for real change."

Cheon Sedoo, head of the Araetjang Merchants Association, said, "It is rare to find a candidate who truly listens to ordinary people and reflects their voices in policy. We have high expectations for candidate Lee Jae Myung." Lee Hwasang, head of the Academy Federation, expressed support by saying, "His understanding of local education and his effective measures are impressive. He is a candidate needed by both parents and the education sector."

Yoo Sungjin, head of the Social Economy Federation, explained his support by stating, "There are not many politicians who genuinely understand the value of the social economy. Candidate Lee Jae Myung is different."
