Donating 100 Million Won Annually Since 2023
for Children and Youth in the Onsan Area
On May 14, S-OIL delivered a scholarship fund of 100 million won to Ulju Cheongnyeon, a non-profit organization, for children and youth in the Onsan area where the S-OIL Ulsan plant is located. The ceremony was attended by Lee Sungul, Ulju County Governor, Jeon Youngdo, Chairman of Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, Park Sunghoon, Executive Director of S-OIL, Park Gwangcheol, Chairman of Ulju Cheongnyeon, and leaders of local resident groups in Onsan.

Ulju Cheongnyeon is a non-profit organization established in January 2023 with the purpose of supporting educational and scholarship programs for children and youth in the Onsan area. Since 2023, S-OIL has donated 100 million won annually to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea for scholarship programs and educational facility support in the Onsan region.
The scholarship fund donated by S-OIL will be used for scholarships for elementary, middle, and high school students living in Onsan-eup, as well as for cultural experience events such as art, magic, and character performances, and for various career experience programs.
Park Sunghoon, Executive Director of S-OIL, who attended the donation ceremony, said, "I hope this scholarship fund will broaden learning opportunities and serve as a foundation for children and youth in the Onsan area to pursue their dreams. S-OIL is committed to growing together with the local community where our plant is located, and we will continue to contribute to various fields such as education and welfare."
Park Gwangcheol, Chairman of Ulju Cheongnyeon, said, "We are grateful that S-OIL's generous donation allows us to provide diverse educational opportunities to children and youth in the Onsan area."
