Seoul to See Early Summer Weather
Morning Low of 15 Degrees, High of 26 Degrees Expected
On Wednesday, the 14th, most regions nationwide will be mostly clear, but clouds will gradually increase from the evening. Early summer weather will continue, with daytime highs reaching up to 28 degrees Celsius.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 13th, morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 9 to 18 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. In many inland areas, daytime temperatures will rise above 25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature difference between day and night will be around 15 degrees Celsius, so extra attention to health management is advised.
Expected minimum temperatures by major region are as follows: Seoul 15 degrees, Incheon 14 degrees, Chuncheon 10 degrees, Gangneung 17 degrees, Daejeon 12 degrees, Daegu 14 degrees, Jeonju 14 degrees, Gwangju 15 degrees, Busan 15 degrees, Yeosu 14 degrees, Jeju 16 degrees, Ulleungdo and Dokdo 17 degrees.
Forecasted maximum temperatures are: Seoul 26 degrees, Incheon 23 degrees, Chuncheon 27 degrees, Gangneung 27 degrees, Daejeon 28 degrees, Daegu 27 degrees, Jeonju 27 degrees, Gwangju 26 degrees, Busan 21 degrees, Yeosu 19 degrees, Jeju 24 degrees, Ulleungdo and Dokdo 21 degrees.
Fine dust concentrations nationwide will remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels. However, in Ulsan, levels are expected to temporarily reach 'bad' in the morning.
Strong winds are expected in some areas, especially along the central west coast and in the Yeongdong region of Gangwon, so caution is advised regarding facility management and safety accidents.
Wave heights in the sea will range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In the offshore areas (distant seas within about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea.
