3:00 p.m. Rally on May 13
The National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Jeonjangyeon), which has been staging subway boarding protests, has called on Seoul Mayor Oh Sehoon to engage in dialogue to guarantee the rights of persons with disabilities.
At around 3:00 p.m. on May 13, Jeonjangyeon held a rally on the platform of City Hall Station on Subway Line 2, demanding that Mayor Oh withdraw the dismissal of 400 workers with severe disabilities from rights-based jobs, among other requests. The group attempted to board the subway, but was blocked by Seoul Metro officials, resulting in the protest being called off.

About an hour and a half after the protest began, at 4:25 p.m., Jeonjangyeon ended the rally inside the station without a boarding protest and moved to Seoul City Hall to deliver an official request for a meeting with the mayor.
The group announced that if the city does not respond to their request for dialogue, they plan to hold another rally at City Hall Station on Line 2 at 3:00 p.m. on May 20.
