Contract Signed Worth 69.3 Billion Won
Completion Targeted for August 2027
On May 13, HS Hwaseong announced that it has won the contract for the construction of the Yonsei Science Park (YSP) Dormitory at Yonsei University International Campus.
The total contract value is approximately 77 billion won. HS Hwaseong will participate with a 90% stake, signing a contract worth about 69.3 billion won.
Yonsei Science Park is an innovation cluster for industry-academia-research-medical collaboration, jointly promoted by Yonsei University and Incheon Metropolitan City. It is being developed on Phase 2 of the Yonsei University International Campus site in Songdo International City, Incheon.
The dormitory will be constructed with one basement level and 15 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 29,755 square meters. Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2025, with completion expected in August 2027.
Since the beginning of this year, HS Hwaseong has continued to win redevelopment projects in key metropolitan areas such as Anyang and Jungnang-gu, Seoul, thereby expanding its construction business in the greater Seoul area.
A representative from HS Hwaseong stated, "Winning the YSP dormitory project is a result of HS Hwaseong establishing itself in the metropolitan construction market," adding, "We will continue to expand our project acquisitions not only in the metropolitan area but also nationwide."
