Seoul Mayor Oh Sehun visited Daewoong Pharmaceutical's booth on the opening day of the '2025 Seoul Health Show,' held at Seoul Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul, on May 13.
Mayor Oh experienced the AI-powered real-name disease diagnosis assistance solution 'WISKY' and the fundus camera 'OPTiNA Genesis (Optina),' and received explanations about Daewoong Pharmaceutical's digital healthcare solutions.
WISKY utilizes AI-based fundus image analysis technology to support the early diagnosis of the three major blinding diseases: diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. The fundus camera OPTiNA Genesis is an ultra-lightweight automatic fundus camera that enables high-resolution fundus imaging without the need for pupil-dilating eye drops and allows for automatic imaging with a single button press. It is the only portable device of its kind, optimized for screening fundus diseases.
At this year's Seoul Health Show, Daewoong Pharmaceutical conducted activities to raise awareness about the importance of early diagnosis of the three major blinding diseases. Going forward, Daewoong Pharmaceutical plans to lead the digital healthcare market by supporting personalized health management and early disease detection through various digital solutions, including the wearable electrocardiogram device 'mobiCARE,' the ring-type continuous blood pressure monitor 'CART BP Pro,' the continuous glucose monitor 'FreeStyle Libre,' and the electrocardiogram analysis software 'AiTiA LVSD.'
