T'way Air to Launch First-Ever Vancouver Route Among Domestic LCCs Starting in July

Operates Four Times a Week
Special Promotional Fare Event

T'way Air will launch the first-ever regular route to Vancouver, Canada in North America among domestic low-cost carriers (LCCs), starting July 12.

According to T'way Air on May 13, the Incheon-Vancouver route will operate four times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) using an A330-300 aircraft (347 seats) that includes business class seats.


The outbound flight departs from Incheon International Airport at approximately 9:05 p.m. and arrives at Vancouver International Airport at around 3:25 p.m. local time. The flight duration is about 10 hours and 20 minutes. The return flight departs Vancouver at 5:25 p.m. local time and arrives at Incheon International Airport at around 9:35 p.m. the following day. The return flight takes about 12 hours and 10 minutes. The time difference is 16 hours behind Korea.


To commemorate the new Vancouver route, T'way Air will hold a special promotion from 10:00 a.m. on May 14 to May 25 through its official website and mobile application (app) and webpage.


When booking tickets for the Incheon-Vancouver route, customers can enter the discount code 'CanadaChwiHang' to receive an additional 5% discount. The total one-way fare per person, including fuel surcharges and airport taxes, starts from 362,900 won. The boarding period is from July 12 to October 25, except for certain blackout dates.


Known as the third-largest city in Canada, Vancouver is a coastal city in the northwest of the North American continent, featuring attractions such as Stanley Park, Granville Island, Gastown, Canada Place, and English Bay.


A T'way Air representative stated, "As T'way Air becomes the first domestic LCC to operate flights to Vancouver, we hope to see increased exchanges between the two countries," adding, "We will continue to prioritize safe operations and do our utmost to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey for our passengers."
