Step-by-Step Curriculum Provided

Woongjin Thinkbig's early childhood learning platform 'Smartall Kids' announced on the 13th the release of picture book-based English learning content for children aged 4 to 7.

This new content offers activities linked to picture book stories, including: singing along to songs (to strengthen speaking skills); listening and touching (to enhance listening skills); completing your own book (to reinforce reading skills); creating your own picture book (to develop both reading and expressive abilities); and making word cards (to build word recognition).

For example, in the 'singing along to songs' activity, children listen to picture books through audiobooks and sing key sentences from the story, allowing even those unfamiliar with English to naturally understand the content. In the 'creating your own picture book' activity, children can decorate the cover of a picture book themselves, read aloud sentences from the book, and even record their voices.

This content is designed as a curriculum for children aged 4 to 7 to study twice a week, helping them build a foundation in English before entering elementary school. The program starts with story-based activities and expands to include alphabet and phonics as children grow older, providing step-by-step learning.

A Woongjin Thinkbig representative said, "We have structured the content by expanding picture book stories into a variety of activities so that children learning English for the first time can naturally immerse themselves. We hope that children will be able to set aside any pressure to learn English and instead gain experience speaking, listening, and reading as they follow the stories."
