On Sunday, May 11, the weather across the country is expected to be partly cloudy at times, with showers occurring in various regions.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on May 10, showers are forecast between midnight and 6 a.m. on May 11 in the northeastern part of Gyeonggi, the southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, inland Gyeongbuk, northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and inland Gyeongnam. The expected precipitation is around 5mm.
Temperatures are expected to be similar to the seasonal averages (morning lows of 9 to 14 degrees Celsius, daytime highs of 19 to 24 degrees Celsius), with morning lows ranging from 9 to 13 degrees Celsius and daytime highs from 18 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Until 9 a.m., dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected in the northwestern and eastern inland areas of Gyeonggi, the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the inland areas of the Chungcheong region, and the inland areas of the Jeolla region. In the west coast and other inland areas, fog may reduce visibility to less than 1 kilometer.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to range from 'good' to 'moderate' in all regions.
