Garden Festival and More to Be Held Over Two Days
Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province held the eve event for the 24th Hwangryonggang Gildongmu Flower Road Festival, officially marking the start of the festival. Despite the inclement weather, more than 5,000 people visited the venue.

The event, held the previous day, began at 6 p.m. with a pre-ceremony electronic string performance. This was followed by the awards ceremony for the 2025 Jeollanam-do Garden Festival, the presentation of prizes for the Jangseong Year of Visit commemorative tourism souvenir contest, and the official opening declaration. During the opening performance, guests simultaneously pressed the lighting button, illuminating the theme "To Jangseong, the Land of Excitement and Spring Flowers" on the electronic display board.
On this day, singers Lee Chanwon, Yoon Suhyun, Lee Suho, and Hwang Yunseong took the stage in turn, delivering lively celebratory performances. Lee Chanwon energized the atmosphere with "Jinttobaegi," while Yoon Suhyun performed "Cheontaemansang." Lee Suho, who was the runner-up in "Burning Trotman," and Hwang Yunseong, who also has an international fanbase, also graced the stage.
The main festival will be held over two days, from May 10 to May 11. In the area around the Hwangryonggang Healing Herb Garden, the Jangseong Music Festival and the Jeollanam-do Garden Festival will be held simultaneously, offering a wide variety of attractions. In addition, there will be activities such as art career experiences, stamp postcard making, local food restaurants, and food trucks.
