Jongwon Baek in Crisis to Inject 30 Billion Won... "CEO's Strong Commitment to Mutual Growth"

New Menu Launches and Integrated Membership System
"Practical Support to Increase Customer Visits"

Theborn Korea, led by CEO Jongwon Baek, announced on May 9 that it will implement a franchisee support program worth 30 billion won.

Theborn Korea explained, "The scale of the emergency support program, which is already in place, has been expanded from 5 billion won to 30 billion won," adding, "This reflects CEO Baek's strong commitment to mutual growth with franchisees."

Theborn Korea stated that the new support measures include not only the existing royalty waivers and food ingredient price discounts, but also initiatives to increase customer visits such as marketing for new menu launches, strengthening membership and joint marketing, establishing an integrated membership system, and enhancing brand discounts.

To develop support measures that would be genuinely helpful to franchise owners, CEO Baek previously held meetings with owners of Hongkong Banjeom, Paikdabang, and Rolling Pasta. He plans to continue communicating with all franchise owners of every brand in the future.

Additionally, CEO Baek held a strategy meeting with executives and staff, instructing them to address the on-site challenges identified during the meetings. He also directed the creation of a communication system with franchisees and the establishment of a system that enables swift decision-making on the ground.

CEO Baek stated, "I will make sure that not a single franchise owner is left behind, and we will move forward together." He added, "Taking this meeting as an opportunity, we will go beyond one-time support to realize fundamental innovations in franchise policies, including building an integrated membership system, improving brand design, and developing trendy menus."
