Surpassing 6.5 Million Views in Just 9 Days After Release

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on May 9 that its advertisement video "Gift Insurance" has gained popularity, surpassing 6.5 million views just nine days after its release.

The new advertising campaign delivers the message, "Give insurance as a gift to someone as precious as treasure." Through various episodes, it conveys how insurance can be a meaningful present in everyday life. The campaign connects the shortened term "Bomul" (meaning "treasure" in Korean, derived from "insurance gift") with the idea of loved ones being "treasure-like people" who are the recipients of insurance gifts.

There are a total of four videos: three episodes and one compilation. The three episodes feature a daughter gifting her mother overseas travel insurance for her trip abroad, a manager gifting golf insurance to subordinates going golfing, and a father gifting one-day car insurance to his son who is borrowing a car for a date. The compilation video further explains the meaning of gifting insurance.

The advertisements have received enthusiastic responses, with cumulative views exceeding 6 million?3.9 million on YouTube and 1.3 million on Instagram. In particular, the campaign has garnered 15,000 "likes" on YouTube alone, reflecting voluntary customer feedback and comments that the concept of insurance as a precious gift has been presented in an enjoyable way.

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance was the first in the industry to introduce "gift overseas travel insurance" in November last year. In the first half of this year, the company successively launched "gift golf insurance," "One Team Golf Insurance," and "gift one-day car insurance," securing the largest lineup of gift insurance products in the industry. The company plans to add at least three more gift insurance products by the second half of the year and introduce various new features and services.

Along with this new advertisement, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance is running the "Our Family Assurance Campaign" event until May 16. Customers who complete a "gift overseas travel insurance" transaction between May 1 and May 16 will be entered into a drawing to win a 30,000-won cultural gift certificate, with 100 winners selected.
