4by4 and ESTsoft have agreed to create business synergy by exchanging their respective proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
On May 9, 4by4, a content AI solutions company, announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI service specialist ESTsoft. The two companies will exchange and utilize each other's core AI technologies to improve business efficiency.
Through the agreement, both companies aim to enhance their AI-based business capabilities, improve service quality, and increase production efficiency by mutually supporting each other's technological strengths and operational know-how.
4by4 will actively utilize its image enhancement and data reduction AI solution, Pixell. Pixell significantly improves video quality through advanced AI algorithms and reduces data volume (bitrate) during storage and transmission, enabling traffic optimization.
By leveraging the Pixell solution, 4by4 will upscale the content quality of PERSO.ai, ESTsoft's human video generation and auto-dubbing service, and reduce the massive computing power required for ultra-high-definition video production. The solution will also improve the efficiency of video content storage and transmission, accelerating the overall efficiency of ESTsoft's AI human-related business.
ESTsoft, in turn, will actively support the application of its AI human creation technology in 4by4's character content production process. ESTsoft's AI human technology will also be applied to the production of virtual human-based broadcasts?known as "VTubers"?for LoLQ, the game influencer MNC operated by its subsidiary SBXG, enabling the creation of more realistic and immersive VTuber content.
Yoon Junho, CEO of 4by4, stated, "This will be a great opportunity to see how much synergy can be created when different AI technologies come together and converge," and added, "Through mutual cooperation, we plan to create many successful case studies so that we can serve as a model for other AI companies to achieve greater efficiency."
Starting from this agreement, the two companies also plan to continue discussing various cooperation measures, including joint research and development of AI technologies for content services, joint planning of new services, and mentoring for small and medium-sized AI companies.
