The Korea Professional Park Golf Association (President Lee Jeonggil) announced on May 8 that it has signed a business agreement with K Park Golf Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeon Youngchang) and The Kingpin Co., Ltd. (CEO Bae Mikyung) to expand the base of park golf and promote industrial growth.

This agreement establishes a strategic partnership to promote the professionalization and industrialization of park golf, leveraging the infrastructure and expertise of each organization. The parties agreed to foster park golf as a new growth sports industry that integrates tourism, education, and content.

To this end, the Korea Professional Park Golf Association plans to hold the nation's first professional park golf player selection tournament in August. This tournament is expected to serve as the starting point for a professional league system and as a significant turning point in elevating the status of the sport and establishing a foundation for player development. In addition, in connection with the regional "Premier Tour" scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026, the association also aims to strengthen the branding of professional park golf and stabilize league operations.

Under this business agreement, the organizations will gradually pursue the joint development and sale of sports tourism products based on professional park golf, online and offline promotion and marketing to enhance public awareness, and the establishment of revenue models through collaboration with related industries. Through these efforts, they plan to accelerate the growth of the park golf industry, driving nationwide expansion and structural development.
