Door-to-Door Guidance for Small Business Owners Busy with Their Livelihoods from May to July
Information on Policy Funds and Support Programs in Collaboration with Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation
Gwangjin District (District Mayor Kim Kyungho) is launching the "Door-to-Door Consultation" program, which provides customized consulting services by visiting small business owners who are busy with their livelihoods.
This initiative has been established to support the financial stability and business operations of small business owners. In collaboration with the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, four staff members will visit business sites directly for two months starting in May to offer consulting services.
The program introduces the district's key policy loan support measure, the "Gwangjin-type Special Loan Support Project." Through this project, each business can receive up to 70 million won, with a two-year grace period and a three-year repayment term. The district provides a 2% interest subsidy for two years, allowing businesses to access loans at a low annual interest rate of around 1.0%. The project is conducted after assessing demand in advance, focusing on traditional markets and alley-type shopping districts.
The program also informs business owners about various support projects, including: distribution of One-Stop Support Center guidebooks; promotion of business activities scheduled for the second half of the year; encouragement to subscribe to the support information notification service; and listening to business difficulties. These efforts aim to help stabilize the management of small businesses across multiple areas.
Consultations will begin in Junggok 1-dong on May 13 and continue through July, covering 15 neighborhoods in total. Small business owners who wish to participate can apply through the Gwangjin branch of the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation.
Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, stated, "We have prepared this program to provide more convenient consulting services to small business owners who are busy running their businesses. I hope many small business owners will participate," adding, "We will do our best to listen to the voices of small business owners, who are the foundation of the local economy, and reflect them in district administration to bring about practical and meaningful changes."
The district is working to support small business owners by establishing an integrated support system in cooperation with the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation, and the Gwangjin District Chamber of Commerce.
