23,000 Accounts Sold Out in One Day After Launch
Up to 200,000 KRW per Month with 6% Preferential Interest Rate
Saemaeul Geumgo announced on May 7 that it would extend the sale of the 'MG Kkum Namu Savings Account' for one more day as part of its campaign to increase children's demand deposit accounts.
This product is a one-year term savings account, limited to 10,000 accounts. It offers a preferential annual interest rate of 6.0% on top of each branch's standard one-year regular savings rate. Monthly deposits can range from a minimum of 50,000 KRW to a maximum of 200,000 KRW. Only those born in 2013 or later (excluding those born in 2025 who are eligible for the Agibaem Savings Account) are eligible to apply.
On the first day of sales, May 2, all 23,000 accounts were sold out in just one day. Initially, sales were scheduled to end upon reaching the target sales limit, but due to high customer demand, the decision was made to extend the sale for one additional day.
A Saemaeul Geumgo representative stated, "We decided to consider extending the sale due to the strong sales performance of the MG Kkum Namu Savings Account," and added, "We will continue our efforts to provide a variety of financial experiences and benefits to our young customers, who represent the future of Saemaeul Geumgo."
