Performances by Moon Yeonju, Bae Ahyeon, Lee Daewon, and Others
Wanju County in North Jeolla Province will hold the 'Traditional Market Waglewagle Market Song Festival' at Samrye Market on May 8.
According to the county on May 7, the festival is open to all county residents and will be hosted by comedian Hwang Kisoon. The event will include a commemorative ceremony, a singing contest for residents, celebratory performances, and a raffle draw, in that order.
Guest singers Moon Yeonju, Bae Ahyeon, Lee Daewon, and Ko Eunbit are scheduled to perform lively stages to further enhance the festive atmosphere.
Samrye Market is well known for its diverse eateries and unique shops, and is expected to provide special memories for visitors coming to the traditional market with their families on Parents' Day.
The preliminary round of the song festival will be held at 11 a.m. on the day of the event. For participation applications and inquiries, please contact the Samrye Market Merchants Association.
