Uljugun in Ulsan will reduce the regular 2025 road occupancy fees, which are imposed starting this month, by 25% to ease the financial burden on local small business owners.
The reduction applies to small business owners in Uljugun who have received road occupancy permits and are operating their businesses on the designated sites.
Eligible recipients will receive a bill at the beginning of this month and must prepare a 'Small Business (Self-Employed) Certificate' issued by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups by the 5th of next month. They should then submit this certificate to the Uljugun Road Division. After confirming their status as small business owners in Uljugun, a new bill reflecting the reduced fee will be reissued.
An official from Uljugun stated, "We hope that this reduction in road occupancy fees will provide at least some support to small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn."
