On April 21, the entrance ceremony took place at the UMN campus in Indonesia, attended by Kim Seongsu, Director of the Silla University International Smart Technology Cooperation Center, UMN President Andrey Andoko, and the incoming students.

The Batch 7 curriculum, operated as part of the "Tangerang, Indonesia Fourth Industrial Revolution Technology Specialist Training Project," is organized with Silla University providing the program planning and practical equipment, while UMN's expert faculty members are responsible for instruction in each field.

The program consists of two tracks: Big Data-Smart City and Employment-Oriented Smart Factory. A total of 60 students were selected, with 30 students in each track.

The curriculum is designed to help students develop into globally competitive technical talents by addressing the demands of Indonesian industries, including electric vehicle batteries, smart manufacturing, cloud computing, and big data analysis.

During the ceremony, Kim Seongsu, Director of the Silla University International Smart Technology Cooperation Center, and UMN President Andrey Andoko delivered congratulatory remarks, stating, "We hope that the students entering today will become key players in connecting Indonesia with the world in future industries," and added, "Both universities will spare no effort in supporting the growth and success of our students," extending a warm welcome and words of encouragement.

Going forward, the two universities plan to continue expanding customized education programs that reflect the needs of local industries in Indonesia, and to contribute to the creation of a sustainable industry-academia cooperation ecosystem between Korea and Indonesia.
