Slogan Design Unveiled
Reflecting a Vision for the Future Together with Residents
Guro District (headed by Mayor Jang Inhong) has finalized its new slogan for the 8th popularly elected administration: "A Better Tomorrow, Opening Together with Guro," and has unveiled the design.
The district explained that the new slogan embodies Guro's vision for the future, its direction, and its core values.
"A Better Tomorrow" reflects the commitment to creating a future that is better than today, while "Opening Together with Guro" expresses the will to achieve progress through communication and cooperation with residents. The slogan emphasizes the intention to incorporate the diverse voices of residents into district administration, thereby creating changes that everyone can truly experience.
The district also devoted significant effort to the design development, aiming to ensure that the message of the slogan is intuitively conveyed to residents.
In particular, the slogan design focuses on visually expressing the district's vision of moving toward the future together with residents, under the theme of "Connecting Guro and Tomorrow."
The design connects the common consonant "ㄹ" shared by "Guro" and "Tomorrow," and applies different colors to each word based on its meaning. "Better" and "Together" use orange to evoke a positive and warm feeling, while "Tomorrow" and "Guro" use deep blue and bright blue to represent hope, trust, and future values.
The district plans to actively utilize the new slogan and design through various promotional channels to ensure their widespread adoption. In particular, the slogan will be consistently applied to the district's official website, social media platforms, and various promotional materials, with the aim of embedding it into residents' daily lives.

Jang Inhong, Mayor of Guro District, stated, "The new district slogan, 'A Better Tomorrow, Opening Together with Guro,' is the result of incorporating the voices of each and every resident," and added, "We will continue to communicate and cooperate with residents to vigorously open a better tomorrow for Guro."
