The festival was centered around four parks: Hangang New Town Hosu Park, Hangang Central Park, Geolpo Central Park, and Masong Central Park. The event featured a wide variety of content, including character performances, hands-on programs, and parades, which received an enthusiastic response from children and families.

The festivities began with a commemorative ceremony at Hosu Park, followed by a grand parade featuring a marching band, air avatars, and Gimpo citizen families. Visitors to the event expressed high satisfaction, saying, "It feels as if an entire amusement park has been relocated here."

Popular characters such as Carrie and Friends, Pinkfong, Teunteunsaem, and Robocar Poli took the stage and were met with enthusiastic cheers from children. A diverse range of activity booths were also operated, including CPR demonstrations, children's rights education, and nutrition education to prevent picky eating, as well as play-based programs like giant block play, Viking rides, and family sports competitions.

The special Children's Day convergence event "Media+Art Playground" held at the Gimpo Art Village Media Art Center also received a great response from children.

Various programs were offered, including popular animation dubbing experiences, chroma key video studio experiences, and VR virtual media experiences. In particular, family movie screenings and performances at the outdoor theater were highly successful, drawing large participation from citizens.

At Hanok Village, families enjoyed hands-on activities such as creating box gardens with natural and recycled materials under the theme "Our Family Art Box Garden," and many participated in making hanging balls from recycled items.

Mayor Kim went on to emphasize, "Children are the Gimpo citizens who deserve the most respect," and pledged, "We will provide unwavering support so they can grow into future talents with pride."

He further stated, "Gimpo City is making continuous efforts to create good schools and environments so that our children can receive high-quality care from an early age, develop global capabilities, and grow into future talents," and added, "We will do our utmost so that our children, proud to have grown up in Gimpo where imagination becomes reality, can go out and thrive across the country."
