[Weather] Cloudy with Rain on Children's Day... Temperature Difference Around 15 Degrees Yonhap News

On Monday, May 5, which is Children's Day, most regions across the country are expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.

The expected precipitation is 5 to 20 mm for the Jeolla region, Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island; 5 to 10 mm for Daegu and Gyeongbuk; around 5 mm for the Chungcheong region; and less than 5 mm for the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

The morning low temperatures are forecast to range from 5 to 12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs are expected to range from 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will be significant, at around 15 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.

Wave heights in the coastal waters of the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea are expected to range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters.

In the offshore areas (distant seas within approximately 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea.
