Gwangjin District Publishes 2025 Youth Policy Guidebook Featuring 105 Programs Including Employment and Entrepreneurship

Gwangjin District (District Mayor Kim Kyungho) has published the "2025 Gwangjin District Youth Policy Guidebook," which compiles various youth support programs.

The guidebook was created to present policies that are helpful for young people who are busy with their studies and job preparation in an easy-to-understand format.

The 75-page guidebook is organized into general information, youth policies, youth maps, and youth information. It introduces 105 programs across five areas: employment and entrepreneurship, housing, culture, sports and education, daily life and welfare, and participation and communication. Each program is categorized by area to help young people easily find the support they need.

Major programs include: in the employment and entrepreneurship sector, Youth Startup Irum Center and Youth Policy Promotion Exhibition; in the housing sector, Gwangjin-type Youth Monthly Rent Support and Gwangjin 119 Housing; in the culture, sports, and education sector, Youth Culture Life Voucher; in the daily life and welfare sector, Meal Support for Unemployed Youth and Adaptation Support for Newly Relocated Youth; and in the participation and communication sector, Youth Portal Operation.

To enhance convenience, the guidebook is also divided by implementing agencies. It distinguishes youth policies implemented by Gwangjin District, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and central government ministries. Each program includes a contact number and QR code to improve accessibility and promptness.

Additionally, the appendix features a youth map and youth information. The map highlights libraries, cultural and sports facilities, public parking lots, and traditional markets frequently visited by young people. It also lists the website addresses of major facilities where youth can find useful information.

The guidebook is available as an e-book on the Gwangjin District Office website and the Youth Portal. In addition, 1,000 printed copies will be distributed to community centers and youth facilities.

Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, stated, "Many young people have been unable to receive support simply because they did not know about the available programs. I hope that this guidebook will enable more young people to benefit from useful information tailored to their needs. We will continue to discover practical policies through ongoing communication to make Gwangjin District a happier place for youth."
