GFFG Knotted Unveils Collaboration for Nexon’s KartRider Rush+ 5th Anniversary

The premium dessert cafe brand 'Knotted' is launching a special collaboration with Nexon's mobile racing game 'KartRider Rush+' (hereafter referred to as KartRider Rush+) to celebrate the game's 5th anniversary. This collaboration, which brings together gaming and desserts, will be available for one month starting May 1.

This partnership is themed as "Sweetest Celebration/The 5th Sugar Rush," and features a storytelling concept in which Knotted's signature characters, the 'Sugar Bakery' friends, are invited to the KartRider Rush+ world to host a party. This unique project is designed to appeal to fans of both KartRider Rush+ and Knotted.

Through this collaboration, players can discover Knotted's 'Sugar Bakery' intellectual property as a variety of in-game items within KartRider Rush+. More than 10 Knotted-themed items have been added, including the Knotted speed kart 'Cream Bunny,' the character 'Sugar Bear,' the pet 'Dough Puppy,' and the flying pet 'Flying Cream Donut,' as well as character costumes, skins, and hair accessories.

At Knotted's offline stores nationwide, six types of limited-edition collaboration menu items are being offered. These desserts are themed around the 'Sugar Bakery' characters preparing for an in-game party, and are inspired by KartRider Rush+'s main characters, Dao and Bazzi, as well as game items. The collaboration not only provides a visual treat but also offers a variety of flavor combinations.

The main menu consists of four types of donuts filled with Knotted's signature cream: ▲Bazzi Strawberry Cream Donut, ▲Dao Soda & Raspberry Cream Donut, ▲Racing Oreo Cream Donut, and ▲Banana Cream Donut. In addition, ▲Blue Yuzu Water Bomb Ade and ▲Red Booster Ade are available. Notably, the two ades add a playful twist with their popping texture and sweet-and-tangy flavor, inspired by the water bomb item from the game.

All menu items are available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis throughout May. The packaging has also been specially designed with collaboration-exclusive messages, enhancing their collectible value.

Customers who purchase the collaboration menu items will receive various benefits. For each collaboration donut or beverage purchased, one random "sticker coupon" is provided, and the back of the coupon includes a code that can be redeemed in the KartRider Rush+ game.

In particular, at 12 major locations, customers who purchase the 'KartRider Rush+ Celebration Set' (four types of donuts plus one beverage) will receive a set of five stickers and an additional limited-edition "special coupon." With a total of 5,000 special coupons available, fans have the chance to win KartRider Rush+ items such as the 'Captain Kart' through a lottery, which is expected to generate significant interest.

To make the collaboration event even more immersive offline, a pop-up space will be operated at Knotted World inside Lotte World Mall in Jamsil. The venue will feature various themed spaces and photo zones celebrating the 5th anniversary of KartRider Rush+, and customers who upload proof photos to SNS will be entered into a drawing to win a Knotted voucher worth 50,000 won.

This collaboration is available not only at Knotted's offline stores but also through various distribution channels such as CU, Coupang, Kurly, Kakao Gift, and Knotted's official online store. The main online products include ▲Signature Milk Fresh Cream Donut, ▲Bazzi Sliding Banana Donut, and ▲Cream-Filled Smile Roll Cake. These products also come in limited-edition collaboration packaging and include sticker coupons. Additionally, customers who purchase the 'Smile Roll Cake' will have the chance to receive a free Smart Tok on a first-come, first-served basis.

Other events within the KartRider Rush+ game include the "5th Anniversary Daily Legend Kart" event, where players can receive a Legend Kart by logging in daily; the "Oh! The More You Race, the Sweeter the 5th Anniversary Super Week" event, where players can win prizes through a lottery by using tickets earned from ranking or classic modes; and the "Oh! The More You Watch, the Sweeter the 5th Anniversary Special Coupon" event, where five coupons are revealed every five days starting from May 5.
