Albamon, a part-time job recruitment platform, has apologized after a data breach resulted in the leak of personal information from over 22,000 members.
On May 2, Albamon announced on its website that on April 30, abnormal access and hacking attempts were detected in the "Resume Preview" feature. The company stated that it immediately blocked these attempts and that all threats have now been neutralized. "We sincerely and deeply apologize to all our members who have trusted and used Albamon," the company said.
The company further explained, "During this process, we confirmed that some members' temporarily saved resume information (such as names, mobile phone numbers, and email addresses) was leaked. In total, 22,473 temporarily saved resume records were leaked, and the specific information leaked may vary for each individual."

Albamon stated, "In accordance with relevant laws, we promptly and voluntarily reported the incident to the authorities on May 1 and have individually notified all affected members. We take this matter extremely seriously and will conduct a comprehensive review of our security systems and significantly strengthen our personal information protection measures to prevent a recurrence."
The company added, "We are doing our utmost to prevent any further damage by strengthening real-time monitoring of abnormal activity. As of now, no secondary damages have been reported as a result of this incident."
Albamon also said, "For members whose information was leaked, we will provide compensation details via text message and email as an expression of our apology for the inconvenience caused. We will inform you of the compensation schedule and method as soon as possible through email and text message."
