The "Korea Prestigious Brand Awards" selects recipients through a comprehensive evaluation of brand competitiveness, strategy, and systematic management, based on expert performance assessments and consumer awareness surveys.

"Boseong Green Tea" was registered as the first agricultural product with a geographical indication in 2002. Since 2009, it has obtained organic certifications from the United States (USDA), Europe (EU), and Japan (JAS), establishing a safe agricultural production system that meets international standards. Even now, through continuous quality control and an organic production system, it remains a prestigious Korean brand trusted by consumers both domestically and internationally.

In particular, the county has been designated as an Excellent Industrial Zone in recognition of its achievements in attracting businesses related to tea, increasing residents' income, and revitalizing the local economy. It received the Prime Minister's Group Award in 2012, 2014, and 2019. In 2018, the "Boseong Traditional Tea Agriculture System" was designated as National Important Agricultural Heritage No. 11, officially acknowledging the historical value and sustainability of tea production.

A county official stated, "From 2022 to the present, we have exported 13.5 tons of organic Boseong Green Tea to France," and added, "We will continue to strengthen our competitiveness in the global green tea market so that Boseong Green Tea can grow into a world-class premium brand."

Meanwhile, from May 2 to May 6, the county plans to hold a grand festival under the theme "A Millennium-Old Promise of Tea Blossoming in Boseong." The event will integrate the Boseong Dahyang Festival, Boseong County Residents' Day, Seopyeonje Boseong Sori Festival, Illimsan Azalea Cultural Event, Children's Day, Green Tea Marathon, Daily Concert, and the Black Eagles Air Show.
