Appreciation for Dedication and Passion... Daegu Cyber University and Youngwang Academy Hold Meaningful Ceremony Marking 79 Years of History and 23 Years of Growth

A Meaningful Gathering to Wish for the University's Continued Growth

Daegu Cyber University held an event on the 29th at the Small Theater on the 2nd floor of the Daegu University Lifelong Education Center to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of its founding and the 79th anniversary of Youngwang Academy.

The event was attended by more than 100 people, including President Lee Geunyong, faculty, staff, Park Sangwook, president of the student council, Kim Jongyun, president of the alumni association, current students, and alumni. They celebrated the university's growth and development and took the time to encourage one another for their hard work.

During the ceremony, the following individuals were recognized for their contributions.

The 20-year long service award was presented to Kim Hanyang, professor of the Department of Social Welfare; Kim Chunhee, professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Do Jinwoo, director of the General Affairs Office; Son Junghoon from the Finance Team; Kim Kyunghee from the General Affairs Team; Kim Sohyun and Jung Hyo-in from the Content Development Team; Kim Mijeong and Ko Jaehwi from the Student Affairs Team; and Kim Minjeong from the Planning and Budget Team.

The 10-year long service award was given to Shin Dajin from the General Affairs Team and Park Sumin from the Admissions and Public Relations Team, expressing gratitude for their ten years of dedication.

The Foundation Merit Award, recognizing contributions to the development of the school foundation, was awarded to Jeon Jongguk, professor of the Department of Counseling Psychology. The Exemplary Award was given to Chae Hyuntak, professor of the Department of Social Welfare; Kim Younggeol, professor of the Department of Special Education; Kim Taehyung from the Planning and Information Team; Kim Youngeun from the Academic Affairs Team; and Choi Wonwoo from the Content Development Team.
