Focusing on the old appearance of Seoul, "Myeongdong Salon: The Heritage" is the first exhibition to be held at the "Heritage Museum," which is located on the fourth floor of the Main Store The Heritage and opened on April 9. The Heritage Museum continues the historical significance of the Main Store The Heritage as a modern architectural legacy through the works of three first-generation photographers?Sung Dukyung, Lim Eungsik, and Han Youngsoo?who captured the Myeongdong area in the 1950s and 1960s.

Visitors to the exhibition can experience the history and traces of the very space they are standing in by viewing works such as "Shinsegae Department Store and Cheil Bank" by Sung Dukyung and "Seoul Sogong-dong" by Han Youngsoo, which vividly document the lifestyles, streets, and buildings of Seoul at the time. In addition to photographic works, the exhibition features various old items from that era and recreates the popular salon culture of the time within the gallery, allowing visitors to experience the history of the Myeongdong area in a multisensory way.

In addition, to mark Family Month, an exhibition on the theme of family will be presented. Daegu Shinsegae Gallery will hold an exhibition from May 2 to June 30, inviting visitors to reflect on the special relationships and meanings shared with companion animals that are deeply integrated into our lives. Eight artists, including Geno, Seo Anna, and Kaede Machiko, will participate in the exhibition, expressing the emotional bonds and meanings shared with companion animals from an artistic perspective.

Visitors will be able to view works such as Geno's "Your Warmth Dachshund," which depicts moments of comfort received from companion animals in a simple and intuitive manner, and "Strange Mushroom Stew" by children's book author Ryu Eunji, which warmly portrays a pet dog transformed into a chef in watercolor style.

Daejeon Shinsegae Gallery will hold the Playmobil 50th Anniversary Exhibition, "Playmobil in Shinsegae: Small World, Big Joy," until June 22. Centered on Playmobil visiting Shinsegae Department Store, this exhibition will showcase unique works and spaces such as "Beauty Lounge," "Sweet Park," "Juraji Camping Zone," and "Shinsegae Gallery."

A Shinsegae Department Store representative stated, "To celebrate May, we have prepared a variety of exhibitions and events for customers who wish to spend special moments with their loved ones," adding, "Going forward, Shinsegae Department Store will continue to do its utmost to enrich customers' lives with diverse content as a 'space that offers precious things.'"
