GRT has announced that it will provide automotive film services that combine high quality assurance and cost-effectiveness in partnership with JD AUTO.
On April 28, GRT signed a strategic agreement with JD AUTO and officially opened the premium automotive film brand 'DECOREE' under GRT, as well as the 'JD AUTO Film Certified Store.' GRT announced this on April 29. This is significant as it marks the first film certified store for JD AUTO.
The two companies have pledged to cooperate in various areas based on the 'Group Standard for Automotive Paint Protection Film Installation,' including the establishment of a technical certification system, ensuring a genuine product supply chain, and building a standardized service system and brand ecosystem.
To explore specific directions for cooperation, a delegation from JD AUTO visited GRT's headquarters to thoroughly examine the technological achievements and smart manufacturing capabilities of the functional new materials industry chain.
At the strategic agreement ceremony, the two companies discussed topics such as the digital operation of vehicle protection film products, supply chain collaboration, and upgrading the consumer service experience. As a result, they agreed on a common strategy of 'sample first, service first construction, and joint model development.'
The automotive film market has long faced dual challenges on both the supply and demand sides. Most car owners experience issues such as differences in film quality and a lack of price transparency. Traditional street stores also face operational problems, including incomplete standardization of service procedures, high customer turnover, and low utilization rates of workspaces.
In response, JD AUTO has decided to introduce an innovative 'film certified store' model, aiming to establish a two-way solution that connects high-quality service with accurate customer acquisition through a service standardization certification system.
With the opening of this JD AUTO film certified store, the two companies plan to complete the rollout of 200 certified stores this year. Their strategy is to support the high-quality development of the automotive aftermarket through a standardized service system and integrated resources.
JD AUTO will open up full-channel traffic support to help outstanding potential stores enhance their customer acquisition capabilities. With unified service standards, transparent pricing, and digital management tools, JD AUTO aims to improve store efficiency and reduce costs.
At the same time, GRT will leverage its platform user resources to accurately market to consumer demand, helping more outstanding domestic factories, brands, and products to grow rapidly, and enabling more customers to experience standardized, certified, and more professional film services.
Bang Yi, General Manager of the JD AUTO Film Omnichannel Business Division, said, "This strategic cooperation not only symbolizes a new beginning for both parties, but also marks a new start for the automotive film industry. JD AUTO will continue to strive to become the most preferred platform for consumers in the film sector."
