On May 3, the highly anticipated "Disney in Concert," which has received an enthusiastic response every year, will return with an upgraded stage under the title "Beyond the Magic."

Disney in Concert is an official Disney-licensed performance that combines animated scenes on a large screen, live performances by four of Korea's top musical actors, and the perfect harmony of the Ditto Orchestra.

The show will feature theme songs from beloved Disney and Pixar masterpieces that have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide for years, including ▲ The Little Mermaid ▲ The Lion King ▲ Aladdin ▲ Beauty and the Beast, as well as ▲ Coco ▲ Moana ▲ Frozen, promising an emotional experience.

On May 17 at 4:00 p.m., the world-renowned string quartet "Takacs Quartet" will visit Iksan Arts Center to celebrate its 50th anniversary, joined by soprano Park Hyesang.

The Takacs Quartet is recognized as one of the world's finest, having been named among the "Five Greatest String Quartets of Our Time" by Gramophone magazine and the "Ten Greatest String Quartets of the Past 100 Years" by BBC Music Magazine.

This performance will offer a musical experience spanning from classical to contemporary works, featuring violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill, who joined the group in 2022, and soprano Park Hyesang, a diva chosen by the Metropolitan Opera.

On May 23 at 7:30 p.m., the musical "Cheongchun Yeonga," suitable for the whole family, will take the stage. Through the themes of a funeral and an 80th birthday celebration, the show explores family and community conflict and harmony in a fun and moving trot jukebox musical format.

The cast includes gugak artist Kim Youngim and actors Hong Jimin, Kim Hyungyun, Oh Hwara, and Kim Chanho. The performance features the original song "Cheongchun Yeonga," as well as famous melodies such as ▲ With My Love ▲ Our Mother ▲ Have a Drink ▲ Trust Only Me Now ▲ At Andong Station, accompanied by spectacular group dance routines.

On May 31, the play "Our Little Sister" will be performed twice, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. This production is based on the Japanese film of the same name directed by Hirokazu Koreeda, which won five awards including Best Picture at the 39th Japan Academy Awards in 2015, and is adapted from Akimi Yoshida's manga "Our Little Sister."

The play "Our Little Sister" portrays, in a simple and lyrical manner, the process by which three sisters?Sachi, Yoshino, and Chika?and their half-sister Suzu, living in a quiet seaside town, become a true family, warmly highlighting the meaning and importance of family that is often forgotten.

Actors Park Haseon, Uee, Ryu Ijae, Seol Gaeun, Yoo Seokhyeon, Lee Kanguk, and Kim Jeongyeong will appear, inviting the audience to reflect on the meaning of family and life through a heartfelt performance.
