On April 28, CJ Olive Young announced that, in celebration of Family Month, it will offer a wide variety of health category products suitable for gifts at discounted prices for one month starting May 1.

Olive Young has been actively expanding its range of health category products since November 2023, in response to a growing number of consumers interested in health management. Following the 'Healthyater' promotion, which introduced health management routines, the company also showcased products in three separate promotions last year, focusing on specific functions such as slimming, oral health, W-care, and inner beauty.
During this period, Olive Young introduced easy-to-consume formats like shots and gummies, fruit-flavored products such as peach and plum, and exclusive collaborations with popular characters available only at Olive Young. As a result, sales of health supplements in 2023, the first year of Olive Young’s full-scale focus on the health category, increased by 43% compared to the previous year. Notably, sales of shot and gummy-type products?which helped dispel the stereotype that health supplements are unpalatable and inconvenient?rose by 93% year-on-year.
In May, Olive Young will offer over 600 trendy health supplement products at discounted prices. Customers can purchase popular formats like shots and gummies, as well as special edition products created in collaboration with webtoon 'Yumi's Cells' and the energy-themed character 'Cheonhajangsa,' at special prices.
To mark Family Month, which includes Parents' Day, Coming-of-Age Day, and Couples' Day, Olive Young will introduce differentiated health supplements that can be enjoyed by both younger and older generations. The company plans to showcase traditional health supplements such as vitamins and red ginseng, tailored to the main concerns of those in their 20s and 30s, namely 'immune support' and 'fatigue recovery.'
Reflecting the trend toward hyper-personalized shopping, Olive Young has further refined its curation compared to previous promotions. Customers can select health supplements that address specific concerns such as red ginseng and immune support, vitamins, probiotics, slimming, and inner beauty. For customers who have difficulty choosing, Olive Young will also offer a 'Health Supplement Edition' kit containing samples of up to 10 different health supplements. The kit will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to members who spend at least 50,000 won at Olive Young, regardless of category, starting May 1.
From May 2 to May 25, Olive Young will host the 'Olive Young Stamina Recharge Station' pop-up store at 'Trendpot by Olive Young Hongdae,' with a focus on the main categories of immune support and fatigue recovery. Popular health supplement brands such as MerryRuth, Orthomol, and CheongKwanJang will participate, offering opportunities to experience products that help recharge vitality. The pop-up store features a 'game character HP (health points) recharge' concept, allowing families to experience traditional health supplements together. After selecting a character, visitors can complete quests related to vitality at each brand’s booth, which is set up like a game map, and receive samples of each brand's signature health supplements.
An Olive Young representative stated, "We have curated trendy yet healthy products to satisfy both our core customer base of people in their 20s and 30s, who are emerging as a new consumer group for health supplements, and our traditional customer base in their 40s and 50s." The representative added, "Through this promotion, we hope families will find health supplements that make perfect gifts for both children and parents, as well as all family members during Family Month."
