From April 28 Until Budget Runs Out
Gangnam District in Seoul (District Mayor Cho Sungmyung) will launch a "Gangnam Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate" payback event on the public delivery app "Ttaenggyeoyo" starting April 28, allowing users to receive benefits when ordering food through the app.
This event offers consumers discounts of up to 30% and aims to boost local consumption among small business owners. It will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated budget is exhausted.
The event targets pilot districts for the activation of Seoul's public delivery app and was organized through a public-private partnership between Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gangnam District, and the "Ttaenggyeoyo" app. Benefits are provided in three ways: a 15% upfront discount on gift certificates, a 10% payback when using the certificates, and a 5% accumulation of Ttaenggyeoyo points on the payment amount.
The "Gangnam Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate" is a mobile-only certificate that can be used on the public delivery app "Ttaenggyeoyo" and can be purchased at a 15% discounted price through the SeoulPay Plus app. With the addition of payback and point accumulation, users can enjoy a total discount effect of up to 30%.
Payback certificates and points are calculated based on completed deliveries and are valid for 60 days. Payback certificates are distributed on the 20th of the following month via the SeoulPay Plus app, and points can be accumulated up to a maximum of 500,000 points per person. Any accumulation beyond this limit will not be granted.
District Mayor Cho Sungmyung stated, "We aim to provide tangible benefits to consumers while promoting the circulation of funds within the region to invigorate the small business economy," adding, "We will continue to develop various support measures to help restore the local economy."
