Shinsegae Centum City Launches Diverse Promotions for Family Month

Shinsegae Centum City is celebrating Family Month by launching a variety of promotions, attractions, food options, and entertainment under the theme of 'Share the Love' until May 29, aiming to attract families to the department store.

Throughout this event, the department store will be decorated with messages such as 'YOU ARE AMAZING', 'SUPER HERO DADDY', and 'LOVE MOM', all centered around the theme of love for family. The goal is to deliver comforting messages that can provide encouragement to each other in the midst of daily life.

First, Shinsegae Centum City has prepared a variety of content for children to create lasting memories, transforming the department store into a space where families can feel love for one another.

At 'Juraji', an urban amusement park spanning 1,200 pyeong, visitors can enjoy not only exploration and play but also a range of F&B options from May 1 to 6. The menu includes yogurt made from raw milk produced at Jeongdong Ranch, Pororo juice, sweet cotton candy, popcorn, and other items that children love, ensuring that families with young children can have an enjoyable time.

On May 3, the ice rink will host two performances by 'Team Jewels Club', a group of junior figure skaters aspiring to become the next Kim Yuna. On May 5, the Culture Hall will present three performances of the family musical 'I Like Books', based on the work of world-renowned picture book author Anthony Browne, offering children an opportunity to become naturally familiar with books.

There will also be a variety of character pop-up stores and kids' fashion events.

The 'Snoopy (Peanuts) Pop-up Store', which attracted over 15,000 visitors in January 2023 and received an enthusiastic response, will return to the event hall from May 9 to 18. This year, in celebration of its 75th anniversary, the event will feature limited-edition goods and exclusive products. From May 9 to 11, a prize draw event at the central plaza will offer collaborative goods featuring Shinsegae's mascot 'Poovilla' and Snoopy as prizes.

Prior to this, until May 1, the event hall will host the 'Little Kids Fair', offering up to 50% off past season products from eight brands, including Bebedepino, Roa&Jane, and Orsite. In the children's specialty section, the 'Character Territory' pop-up introducing popular characters such as Jjanggu, Meonjakkwi, and Damgomi will run until May 15.

In anticipation of Parents' Day, Shinsegae Centum City will offer a wide range of popular items, from health supplements to healthcare appliances, as well as hands-on classes, so that customers can express their gratitude to parents who are heroes in their families.

At Centum City Mall, Bodyfriend will give customers an additional massage bed 'Air' or massage sofa 'Amigo' with every purchase until May 31. OSIM is offering up to 26% off its advanced AI massage chair 'uLove 3' and providing the 'uMoby' neck and shoulder massager as a gift until May 11. Heukpyo Heukchindae is holding the 'Hyo Series Proposal Exhibition', offering up to 30% off a variety of sizes of clay beds and clay mats until May 18.

There will also be discounts and promotional events for health supplements, a classic Parents' Day gift, until May 11. At the CheongKwanJang store, customers can enjoy up to 20% off on products such as red ginseng sets and receive a 5% Shinbaek Reward based on purchase amount. GNC, Orthomol, and Vitamin Bank will provide a 10% Shinsegae gift certificate based on purchase amount.

The academy will host a 'Flower Box' class and a 'Carnation Rice Cake Making' class on May 2 and 3, where participants can make carnation flower arrangements and rice cakes themselves. On May 10, there will be an 'Oranda Making' experience for Teacher's Day gifts.
