Han Donghoon: "Give Me Majority Support... I Will Unleash It All to Defeat Lee Jaemyung"

Han: "I Will Risk My Life and Fight to Win for Your Dreams"

Han Donghoon, former leader of the People Power Party and a presidential primary candidate, appealed for support on the 27th, saying, "Please give me a majority of votes this time so that I can save my strength to unleash it all against former Democratic Party leader Lee Jaemyung. I will use all the strength I have saved to completely defeat candidate Lee Jaemyung."

On the morning of the same day, Han referred to the one-on-one debate and four-way debate of the People Power Party’s second primary, held from April 24 to 26, in a Facebook post. He said, "All the candidates are excellent, but please think carefully about whether you could really handle a debate with candidate Lee Jaemyung." He added, "Since we are on the same side, I only used 10% of my strength. I will pour 200% of my strength into facing candidate Lee Jaemyung."

Han also referenced the "I have a dream" speech by Martin Luther King Jr., the nonviolent Black civil rights activist, saying, "I have no dream of my own. I only have your dreams." He continued, "It is the dream of your nation becoming stronger and the happiness of each and every one of you being protected."

He went on to say, "I will fulfill your dreams. I will risk my life and fight to win for your dreams," emphasizing, "I will fight with the resolve to die standing."

He continued, "I have reformed politics, followed the will of the people, been ousted, and come back again and again," stressing, "If I overcome adversity and win the primary by a landslide, it will become a drama that embodies the desire for political reform."

He added, "With the inspiration from that drama, we can defeat Lee Jaemyung and the Democratic Party. I will surely put an end to old politics and achieve political reform and generational change."
