Strengthening Customer Engagement with Distinctive Content
The official YouTube channel of Lotte Construction has surpassed 400,000 subscribers. This is the highest number of subscribers among YouTube channels operated by domestic construction companies. The channel's content has also accumulated over 45 million views, making it the most viewed in the industry.
On April 27, Lotte Construction announced, "Through our official YouTube channel 'OK Lotte,' we are moving beyond simple apartment sales marketing and experimenting with new forms of marketing such as web variety shows, hidden camera segments, and music videos."
The channel's flagship content is reality videos featuring resident participation. The video 'Mother's Time,' released in January, highlighted the meaning of family and home by depicting the daily lives of grandparents caring for their grandchildren on behalf of working parents. Within three weeks of its release, the video surpassed 3 million views. The company explained, "It was praised for its warm portrayal of the realities of grandparenting."
Another piece of content in a similar format is 'The Only Work of Art in the World, Home,' released in February last year. This video featured residents expressing gratitude to their families through apartment speakers. It won the Grand Prize in the Video Content category at the 'Korea Digital Content Awards,' hosted by the Korea Internet Communication Association.
The channel's web variety shows have also drawn attention. 'Sonpum Balpum Imjanggi' is the first real variety field visit content in the construction industry, where cast members visit real estate hotspots across the country. It received the Grand Integrated Award in the Construction Brand category at the 'Social i-Awards 2024,' organized by the i-Awards Committee of the Korea Internet Professionals Association.
In August last year, the collaborative music video 'LIVE CLASSIC: paradise,' featuring singers Zion.T and Sokodomo, was released. The two artists wrote and composed the song themselves, delivering the Lotte Castle brand message.
A Lotte Construction representative stated, "OK Lotkae has led market trends with a wide range of content, including real estate information, web variety shows, and music videos," adding, "We will continue to communicate with customers to become a brand that is both approachable and trusted."
