Hoewon Sunrise Children's Park is a park frequently used by local residents. However, as it was established over 20 years ago, its sports and convenience facilities had become outdated, and there were no play spaces for children. As a result, there have been continuous civil complaints requesting improvements to the park facilities.

This project was carried out from December 30, 2024, to April 8, 2025, with a special grant of 300 million won, aiming to remodel the entire park. The existing outdated facilities were demolished, and new facilities were installed, including a combination playground for children, shade structures for relaxation, an approximately 200-meter barefoot dirt path for adults, and 10 new pieces of exercise equipment. Efforts were made to create a park where three generations can enjoy together.

Je Jongnam, head of Masanhwoewon-gu, stated, "With this remodeling project, Hoewon Sunrise Children's Park has been transformed into a park where many residents of all ages can easily visit for relaxation and use the barefoot dirt path to improve their health. We will continue to do our best to make this a neighborhood that is great for raising children, a senior-friendly park, and a place where three generations can all enjoy together with a smile."
