Lim Eunjung: "Readily Accepted the Dior Bag... Yoon Curtly Returned a Junior's Book"

Lim Eunjung, Chief Prosecutor at the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, revealed that she sent her book "I Will Keep Going" to former President Yoon Suk-yeol, but he refused to accept it. The book, published in 2022, contains criticism of the prosecution and mentions Yoon Suk-yeol by name.

On April 24, Chief Prosecutor Lim stated on Facebook that she had sent the book "I Will Keep Going" to former President Yoon on April 16, but it was returned. She said, "During the last presidential election, I sensed that Yoon Suk-yeol, who was then the Prosecutor General, would deceive the world using the power of the prosecution and become president. I felt an urgent need to quickly inform the world how our prosecution protects its own and destroys its opponents, so I hurriedly prepared and was able to publish the book just before the prosecution's rampage began."

She continued, "When I published the book, I promised myself that I would send it to Senior Yoon (former President Yoon) someday. He returned home sooner than I expected, and since I happened to know his home address, I sent the book with a brief piece of advice. The delivery was completed on the 17th, but on the 23rd it was refused and returned to me today."

Chief Prosecutor Lim added, "His wife was not so curt and readily accepted a Dior bag, but now that he has returned to private life, I find it regrettable and disheartening that he would go out of his way to return a junior's book." Previously, former President Yoon had commented regarding the allegations about Kim Keon-hee's luxury bag, saying, "My wife was not curt."

In addition, Chief Prosecutor Lim explained that she included the message, "Even now, please stop and reflect on yourself," when sending the book, and said, "My book has come back to me, but I hope my advice has reached him."
