Agreement with Musinsa Earth for 'Eco-Friendly Fashion'
Collaboration to Encourage Domestic Brands to Adopt Sustainable Practices
Hyosung TNC, a textile materials company under Hyosung Group, has joined forces with the fashion platform Musinsa to expand the eco-friendly fashion market.
On April 25, Hyosung TNC announced that it had signed a business partnership agreement with Musinsa Earth, Musinsa’s sustainable lifestyle curation platform, for collaboration on eco-friendly fashion products.

The core of this agreement is to expand the application of Hyosung TNC’s recycled fiber ‘Regen’ to products from brands available on Musinsa. Musinsa operates Musinsa Earth, which brings together brands that use eco-friendly materials or produce products in a sustainable manner among those available on its platform.
As the first example of this collaboration, both companies will launch fashion items using Regen in partnership with seven Musinsa brands on June 5, in celebration of World Environment Day. They also plan to expand sales of products made with Regen through additional brands in the future. To this end, Hyosung TNC and Musinsa Earth will collaborate comprehensively, from jointly analyzing the eco-friendly fashion market, to developing new products using Regen, as well as promotion and marketing.
In particular, regarding product development, Hyosung TNC will provide Musinsa brands with information on Regen and trends in the recycled fiber market, and support them with explanations and training necessary for launching products using Regen. As part of this effort, the Hyosung TNC Fashion Design Center (FDC) plans to hold a workshop in the second half of this year to introduce Hyosung’s eco-friendly fiber lineup to Musinsa brands. Hyosung TNC expects that this collaboration with Musinsa, the top fashion platform in Korea, will further strengthen its position as a leader in the recycled fiber market.
Kim Chihyung, CEO of Hyosung TNC, said, “Sales of fashion products using Regen are expected to increase through a variety of brands available on Musinsa in the future,” adding, “We hope that the eco-friendly fashion market will expand based on ongoing and diverse cooperation between the two companies, enabling other domestic fashion brands to also switch their product materials to recycled fibers.”
