The Only Autonomous District in Seoul Selected for Ministry of Employment and Labor Contest Project
Guro District (District Mayor Jang Inhong) announced that it will officially launch the "2025 Workplace Adaptation Support" project.
The district was the only autonomous district in Seoul to be selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor's public contest project. As a result, it will fully implement the "Workplace Adaptation Support Project," which helps new employees quickly adapt to organizations and supports companies in sustainable talent management.
The "Workplace Adaptation Support Project" will run from April to December, providing a variety of educational and support programs for a total of 140 participants, including new employees, chief executive officers (CEOs), and human resources managers from industrial complexes and general companies in Guro District.
The program consists of two main components: "Adaptation Support (Onboarding) Training" for new employees, and "Youth-Friendly Organizational Culture Improvement Training" for corporate managers.
The Adaptation Support (Onboarding) Training for new employees is an introductory program designed to help those within one year of hiring adapt to workplace life. It is conducted over a two to three-day course and covers practical topics such as "Wise Workplace Life," "AI and Work Innovation," and "Becoming a High Performer," enabling new employees to quickly acclimate to their roles.
The Youth-Friendly Organizational Culture Training is a program for company CEOs and managers. It is a seven-hour, action-oriented course that covers topics such as "Communicating with the MZ Generation," "Introducing Best Practices and Benefits of Youth-Friendly Model Companies," and "Trends in Human Resources (HR) and Labor Issues," aiming to drive change and innovation within organizations.
The training will be conducted offline at locations such as the Guro District Middle-Aged Dream Center and meeting rooms of participating companies. Participants who complete the training will also receive follow-up services, including communication newsletters, mentoring, and the issuance of certificates of completion.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Companies wishing to participate can apply by phone to the Korea Venture Business Association or by using the QR code on the promotional poster.
District Mayor Jang Inhong stated, "We will spare no effort in providing practical education and support so that young people can adapt to the workplace with stability," and added, "I hope this project will serve as an opportunity for positive change for both companies and young people in Guro District."
